Koney supports over 10,000 financial institutions including banks, credit unions, investment accounts, cryptocurrency exchanges, credit cards, loans, and more. We use Plaid for secure bank connections, ensuring your credentials are never stored on our servers.

Yes! Koney is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works beautifully on all devices. Simply visit our website from your mobile browser and add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.

Absolutely! You can import transactions via CSV from virtually any financial institution or other finance apps. We also support importing from popular apps like Mint, YNAB, and Personal Capital if you're switching from another service.

The Free plan continues after your Pro trial. You can start without a card, and you will never be charged just because the trial ends.

No. Your transactions and history remain yours on Free, even after the Pro trial ends.

You move to Free automatically unless you explicitly choose a paid Pro subscription. Nothing is deleted and there is no automatic payment.

No payment method is needed to sign up or try Pro. Razorpay asks for payment details only when you choose a paid subscription.

Yes. You can export your data, and your transaction history stays available on Free.

Cancel renewal in Billing. Pro remains available through the paid period. The Refunds & Cancellation page explains the first-payment refund window and processing timeline.

Koney supports client-side encryption for names, descriptions and notes entered in the app. Amounts, balances and dates are processed by the server. Supported bank connections use integration providers; Koney does not need your bank password.

Never. Your privacy is fundamental to our mission. We never sell or rent your personal or financial data to advertisers.

Koney uses cloud infrastructure for account data and sync. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process information.

Yes, you have complete control over your data. You can export all your data at any time, and permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Account > Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Koney supports authenticator apps, email verification and passkeys in supported sign-in flows.

The self-hosted version runs in Docker and requires: 2GB RAM minimum (4GB recommended), PostgreSQL database, and optionally Redis for caching. We provide detailed setup documentation and Docker Compose files.

Yes! We offer a REST API for developers who want to integrate Koney data into their own applications or build custom workflows. API documentation is available in our developer portal.

Account data is automatically synced multiple times per day. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time. Some institutions may have delays based on their data availability, but most accounts update within hours.

First, ensure you're using the correct credentials for your bank's online banking (not your debit card PIN). Some banks require you to enable third-party access in their settings. If issues persist, try reconnecting or contact our support team.

Transactions typically appear within 24-48 hours of clearing with your bank. Pending transactions may take longer. If transactions are consistently missing, try refreshing the connection or contact support for assistance.

Try clearing your browser cache, using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), and ensuring you have a stable internet connection. If viewing many accounts, the initial load may take a moment to aggregate all data.
